Setting up Virtual Env for preproduction
Heyhey, while working on the map i messed up and pushed a local migration file to the preproduction, the file was linked to the urlid field mandatory to handle 0.9
With this push i ****ed the preproduction database/migration files. While tried to set it back up, i re-ran the requirements.txt, which also updated the production site and downed the API's (urlid field missing).
Got the production site back up by reinstalling the djangoldp V0.6.1 on it, now trying to set the preprod site to 0.9.
In order to avoid having the production and preproductions depend on the same configurations i'm trying to set up a virtual environement on the preprod, to do so i did the following :
u4e@ssh4:~/united4earth/staging$ python -m venv env # optional venv
and got the following error
Error: Command '['/home/u4e/united4earth/staging/env/bin/python', '-Im', 'ensurepip', '--upgrade', '--default-pip']' returned non-zero exit status 1.
Searched around on the web for solutions but I don't want to mess anything up. Any suggestions on how to set up the virtual env @alexandre @matthieu ? I believe it's a better practice to have virtual env's running in these different files no?
ty for everything, Maxime
